A Michigan native, Lydia earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Grand Valley State University before pursuing a degree in Counseling at Wayne State University. With a passion for lifelong learning, Lydia has continued to explore the ways interpersonal relationships impact well-being and quality of life.
Lydia is deeply committed to supporting her clients through various life challenges, including family planning, relationship conflicts, and personal development through parenthood. With a background in Women and Gender Studies, she has a nuanced understanding of the complex issues women face every day. She takes a client-centered approach rooted in compassion and understanding, empowering clients to navigate their struggles and embrace their authentic selves. Lydia integrates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness practices to provide tailored support for her clients.
When she’s not working, Lydia can be found exploring metro-Detroit, testing out new dinner recipes she finds online, or listening to Taylor Swift. She enjoys all things fitness, music, and spending time with friends and family.
