Esti Weiss, MA, LPC
CLINICAL THERAPIST
(she/her/honey)
identified Gryffindor, triplet, and passionate advocate for healing from complex trauma.
Mama of four and lover of music, people, and strong coffee, Esti is a light-filled human who has called Israel, Chicago, and Michigan home. She holds a degree from Bellevue University and brings extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—a therapy model that helps people manage intense emotions and build meaningful relationships. She is also trained in DBT-PE (Prolonged Exposure), a specialized approach for treating post-traumatic stress.
Esti’s background includes Level 1 and Level 2 Acute Crisis training through the Israeli Trauma Coalition, and additional certifications in suicide prevention and trauma response through safeTALK. She is especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating Complex PTSD (C-PTSD)—a form of trauma that often results from chronic relational harm, such as childhood neglect, abuse, or emotionally unsafe environments.
Esti has lived her own chapters of motherhood, postpartum depression and anxiety, loss, love, partnership, and career—all at once, moment by moment, breath by breath. She brings that depth and humanity into her work every day.
After interning in the maternal mental health program at Beaumont Hospital, Esti found her home at Honey, where she now supports clients through both her professional expertise and lived experience. She specializes in helping clients heal through mindfulness, relationship repair, and trauma recovery—especially those coping with PTSD or the long shadows cast by past relationships.
When she’s not at Honey, Esti is likely wrangling four energetic kids, enjoying time with her husband, or connecting with loved ones across the globe.
