At Honey we believe in family.
Both yours, and ours.
Brooke Miller, MA, LMFT
Founder of Honey Space for Moms
After surviving two brain surgeries, a house fire in her childhood home, and being challenged by years of depression and anxiety... it was motherhood that truly brought Brooke to her knees, cracked her open, and changed her perspective from every angle. Married to her husband for 12 years and mother of two daughters ages 4 and 7, Brooke is a licensed psychotherapist specializing in parental mental health, a speaker and consultant, and "trailblazer" according to San Francisco's 411 Magazine.
Born in Detroit, Brooke grew up in Chicago, lost herself in Los Angeles and became an adult in San Francisco. She received her BA from The University of Southern California and her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. She has trained with Postpartum Support International, is a graduate of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program, was a featured on-air psychotherapist for the Ricki Lake Show, and has been quoted in numerous media outlets including the San Francisco Chronicle and Self Magazine.
Called an “approachable therapist bff you want to keep on speed dial” by author, Dr. Lissa Rankin, Brooke blends business with heart no matter what she takes on. She founded Honey Space for Moms in 2016 because she was looking for it and couldn’t find it. Raised by entrepreneurs, Brooke combined what she knew with what she needed, made countless mistakes and works tirelessly to actualize her mission and vision. She unapologetically wears her heart on her sleeve with a little bit four-letter-word, hugs and calling you honey, combined with endless cups of hot coffee and me-too moments.
Brooke lives in Metro Detroit with her family and feels moments of both mom guilt and deep joy on the daily.

Karen is the co-leader of our Honey Entrepreneur program, former Director of Undergraduate Business and IT Programs at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, a member of the State Bar of Michigan Labor and Employment Law section and a TedX Detroit Speaker.
